Judge Nexhmi Rexhepi has been elected president of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo.
His election was made in the Administrative session held on December 10, 2024, by the judges of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo, based on paragraph 5 of Article 114 [Composition and Mandate of the Constitutional Court] of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo.
The mandate of the elected President of the Court will begin on December 31, 2024, after the current President, Mrs. Gresa Caka-Nimani, to complete the 9-year mandate provided for judges of the Constitutional Court, according to the provisions of paragraph 2 of Article 114 [Composition and Mandate of the Constitutional Court] of the Constitution.
The judge, Safet Hoxha, has been elected Vice President of the Constitutional Court, writes A2 CNN.
