One of the highest-paid public officials in the country continues to be the managing director of the Kosovo Pension Savings Fund (Trust), Adrian Zalli. He is followed by the governor of the Central Bank of Kosovo, Ahmet Ismaili, who is paid almost as much as Zalli, KosovaPress reports.
Director Ardian Zalli receives an annual salary of 56,823 euros or 4,735 euros monthly salary.
Zalli has declared his annual salary for 2025 to the Anti-Corruption Agency (APA), KosovaPress reports.
In addition to his large salary, Adrian Zalli has also declared cash in his current account. As he declares to the KPA, he has over 200 thousand euros in cash saved in deposits, in euros and other foreign currencies.
Zalli has stated that he owns a car purchased in 2007 worth 14,800 dollars. The next highest-paid official in the country after Zalli is the governor of the Central Bank of Kosovo, Ahmet Ismaili.
Ismaili is not doing badly with his monthly salary either. Ismaili has declared an annual salary of 51,793 euros or 4,316 euros or a monthly salary.
The two senior officials mentioned have higher salaries than even the president and prime minister in Kosovo.
The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has declared in the APA for 2025, an annual salary of 33 thousand 104 euros or 2 thousand 758 euros monthly salary.
Meanwhile, the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has declared this year an annual salary of 20 thousand 278 euros or a monthly salary of 1 thousand 689 euros.
