The first to give evidence yesterday was Police Officer Elez Peci, who told how the late Afrim Bunjaku, on September 23, 2023, had his usual schedule, starting with patrols.
Afterwards, Peci recounted how they realized that trucks had been placed on the bridge of the village of Banjska to block the entrance.
"On September 23, 2023, the late sergeant, Afrim Bunjaku, had the schedule. As usual, we started with patrols, although our movements were limited. The reason is known to have been the danger. Until 2:00 we were in the field in the municipality of Zveçan together with Fahri Shala. At 2:00 we returned to the station, at 2:30 the command room was notified by radio from the border unit that two trucks had been placed on the bridge in the village of Banjska and the entrance to the village was blocked. Banjska is in Zveçan. The late Afrim Bunjaku called us police officers, gave us tasks, we were equipped with bulletproof vests, helmets and other police equipment. I was in the vehicle with the late sergeant Afrim Bunjaku," Peci said in his testimony.
Further, the Peci Police officer also revealed frightening details of the moment of the explosion, writes A2 CNN.
After police officer Elez Peci, who revealed chilling details from the September 24, 2023 attack, Avni Shala, also a police officer, also confessed.
