Hundreds of armed police officers appeared on the streets of Pristina this Friday, as the Israeli team arrived in the capital of Kosovo.
The national team of Kosovo and that of Israel will play on Sunday the qualifying match for the European Championship, which was postponed in the middle of October due to attacks by Hamas militants.
Strong security measures were taken at the airport, but also at the hotel where the Israeli national team will stay, which is surrounded from all sides.
This will be Israel's first game since the October 7 attack by Hamas. Initially, the Kosovo-Israel match was scheduled to be played on October 15.
Israel is third in Group I for Euro 2024, behind Romania and Switzerland, but has two games to play. (A2 Televizion)
