The American ambassador in Pristina, Jeffrey Hovenier, in an interview with Ilva Taren in the "Balkans Debrief", said that the leaders of France, Germany and Italy share the same attitude, for fulfilling this obligation urgently. The ambassador underlined the fact that the European draft submitted to the office of Prime Minister Albin Kurti does not conflict with the constitution.

 "The current draft is in accordance with the decision of the constitutional court and does not create authority or executive power for the Association. This is not an autonomous province within Kosovo," said Jeffrey Hovenier, US ambassador to Kosovo.

The American diplomat in Pristina also spoke about the terrorist attack in Banjska, considering it "a coordinated, consolidated and sophisticated effort to destabilize the region, and especially the north of Kosovo.

"It was a direct threat to the security and sovereignty of Kosovo. Obviously it was a tragedy," he added.
