I also connect it to the process of Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe, but with the sanctions that were imposed, there was a stalemate. However, there are analysts who have suggested that the Trump administration could influence the EU to lift these sanctions," said Përnaska.
Meanwhile, Democratic Party official Avenir Peka emphasized that the idea of exchanging territories was Thaçi, Rama and Vučić's.
"Donald Trump's former National Security Advisor, John Bolton, who was a promoter of the idea of exchanging territories, told a media outlet in Kosovo that the idea was brought to him by Tony Blair, on behalf of Aleksandar Vučić, Edi Rama and Hashim Thaçi.
