The European Union's Special Representative for the Dialogue, Peter Sorensen, made an important visit to Kosovo. He first met with the President, Vjosa Osmani, with whom he discussed a number of topics. The focus was, of course, the Pristina-Belgrade dialogue.
The Presidency announces that Ms. Osmani presented her observations on the draft statute of association proposed by the EU, requesting that they be treated seriously in order to prevent a major risk to the normal functioning of the state of Kosovo. Afterwards, Sorensen also met with the Prime Minister, Albin Kurti.
The head of government presented several demands such as the lifting of measures against Kosovo, the surrender of terrorist leader Milan Radoićić, and the full implementation of the normalization agreement.
Meanwhile, mediator Sorensen himself considered his visit to Pristina a "good start." But he also emphasized that the next steps in the dialogue will be known only after his visit to Serbia. (A2 Televizion)
