The European Union's envoy for the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, Peter Sorensen, will arrive in Kosovo today for an official visit.
During his stay, Sorensen is expected to hold meetings with the state's top leaders, President Vjosa Osmani, and Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
The meeting with President Osmani is scheduled to start at 09:45, while the one with Prime Minister Kurti is scheduled to start at 10:30.
After the Kurtin meeting, Sorensen will also be received in a meeting by the First Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi.
Sorensen's visit comes at an important period for Kosovo and its relations with the European Union, where the focus of discussions will be the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, the challenges of implementing the agreements reached so far, and the perspective of European integration for Kosovo.
