Negotiations for the formation of a new government in Kosovo are taking place behind closed doors. Political analysts estimate that under the current conditions a coalition between the Vetëvendosje Movement with the Social Democratic Initiative and the non-majority communities, but without the Serbian List, is considered a possible scenario. However, so far it has not been officially confirmed whether there are talks between Albin Kurti and Fatmir Limaj, despite reports of a meeting between them.

"If he takes on a responsibility in the government, then I believe that Kurti will vote for the government. The past has shown us that there have been cases where MPs have changed parties right during the constitutive session. This could happen and perhaps Mr. Kurti is counting on such a thing. However, it is likely that if Nisma is offered the responsibilities that they should have, they will vote for LVV and we will have a government," said Magbule Shkodra | Political scientist.

The election result, according to political scientist Albinot Maloku, has clearly determined the need for the Vetëvendosje Movement to form a governing coalition with any of the Albanian parties.

"As a single party, it cannot form a government, therefore their statements that we can form a government are only in terms of the possibilities that are allowed to the first, but it is not that they are managing to do it. If they did not hesitate, they would try to recognize the reality of the numbers and make a coalition partner. The other part is that if Albin Kurti tries to form a government through smuggling MPs, then the next government will be of smugglers, who are not needed by Kosovo", said Albinot Maloku | Political scientist.

The constitutive session of the Kosovo Assembly will be held on April 15. In preparation for this session, the acting Speaker of the Assembly, Glauk Konjufca, will hold a consultative meeting on Tuesday with the leaders of political parties. In the parliamentary elections of February 9, the Vetëvendosje Movement came first with 48 deputies in the Assembly. Meanwhile, the Social Democratic Initiative has secured three deputies in this legislature, competing in a pre-election coalition with Ramush Haradinaj's AAK, which won 5 seats. The PDK received 24 deputies, the LDK 20 deputies, while the Serbs also have ten seats in the Kosovo Assembly. According to the results, one seat was won by the Serbian politician and acting minister in the Kurti 2 Government, Nenad Rašić, and 9 seats will go to the Serbian List, the largest Serb party in Kosovo, which is financed by Belgrade.
