The British Embassy in Kosovo has reacted after Prime Minister Albin Kurti ignored the order of the Special Prosecution Office to appear there and testify.
Ambassador Jonathan Hargreaves, through an announcement on social media, stated that he has asked all actors involved to respect the Constitution and legal procedures, as well as to work for what is in the best interest of Kosovo.
"Respect for the rule of law is a core feature of Kosovo's democracy. We call on those involved in this case to act in accordance with the Constitution of Kosovo and in respect of legal processes, and to work in what is in the best interest of Kosovo," said Ambassador Jonathan Hargreaves.
We recall that Kurti agreed to give testimony for the Special Prosecution Office, in person at the Prime Minister's Office building, writes A2 CNN. (A2 Televizion)
