The acting Minister of Defense in Kosovo, Ejup Maqedonci, and the Commander of the KSF, Bashkim Jashari, held meetings last week at the United States Department of Defense.
Through a post on its official website, the American Embassy in Pristina has published photos from the meetings, writes A2 CNN.
The Embassy's response emphasizes that these meetings were held within the framework of the Bilateral Defense Consultations, which aim to strengthen Kosovo's ability to guarantee its security and that of the region.
The announcement also adds that the development of a strong partnership in the field of security ensures the stability necessary for economic growth and prosperity, which brings benefits to both countries.
"The U.S. Department of Defense welcomed Kosovo's Acting Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, and representatives of the Kosovo Security Force to Washington last week, as part of Bilateral Defense Consultations aimed at strengthening Kosovo's ability to ensure its own and regional security.
