Almost a month after the elections, there are still questions in Kosovo about the formation of the new government. The Vetëvendosje Movement, as the winner of the elections, does not prefer a coalition with the other major Albanian parties, while the opposition wants it to form the new government cabinet.

In light of new developments in the world, political experts say that the country should have a broad coalition with representatives of all parties, with the option of a neutral prime minister, writes A2.

Analyst Magbule Shkodra says: "Parties must find opportunities for cooperation because foreign policy requires a very, very serious commitment. We need a prime minister who knows how to restore relations with the United States of America, who knows how to approach the European Union to lift sanctions."

While Shemsi Jashari says: "At this time, not having a voice, not knowing your position as a state in the international arena is very harmful, very dangerous, especially for our state that is still not consolidated as a whole, not integrated into international organizations and with a wounded international subjectivity."

The behavior of the leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, towards opposition parties is seen as an obstacle to any possible compromise, except when there may be some external intervention.

"It remains very unclear what Mr. Kurti's will is. Does he want to drag out the process, fail the right to establish a government and deliberately go into opposition, or does he have another strategy that wants to drag out the process to the point where it eventually reaches local elections and we go back to extraordinary elections," Jashari declared.

As the winner of the elections, experts say it is up to Kurti to invite all political entities and talk about coalitions, while the option of other elections should not be considered.

"Absolutely no one should think that we will go to the elections again, we do not have time to go to the elections again, we need a responsible government that starts and deals with the urgent tasks that are waiting for us," says Shkodra.

The Vetëvendosje Movement stated that they are waiting for the certification of the result to talk about forming a new government, but so far it is difficult to say that there will be a long-lasting government if there is no coalition with the largest parties.  (A2 Televizion)
