4 teenagers lost their lives in two weeks in the southeast from heart problems,

Within the last two weeks, 4 teenagers have lost their lives in the southeast of the country, due to cardiac problems.

It is about a 15-year-old from the city of Erseka, a 17-year-old from the city of Pogradec, a 16-year-old from the city of Korça and recently a 12-year-old from Maliqi, writes A2 CNN.

"Sudden death syndrome in people under the age of 40 is a syndrome that is encountered all over the world and also occurs in healthy people and is called sudden arrhythmic death syndrome. Some of the cases have remained unexplained.

The last two people, it is about acute myocarditis. These are viral in nature as it immediately affects the entire heart muscle, putting it out of action and precipitating a major arrhythmia that can be fatal," the doctor told A2 CNN.

Although the cases have alerted citizens about what is happening to young people, specialist doctors explain that the cases are known in medicine. Referring to concrete cases in the southeast, according to the cardiologist, two cases are suspected as major arrhythmias, while the other two cases are the result of viruses.

Ilda Lera, cardiologist at the Korça Hospital, says that despite the fact that medicine also recognizes inexplicable cases, the doctor appeals especially to young people to be careful in the use of drinks and narcotics and of course not to neglect checks. (A2 Televizion)
