Orthodox believers commemorate Black Friday at the Apostle Paul and Saint Asti Orthodox Church in Durrës.
With a special service led by the church's parish priest, dozens of Orthodox believers gathered on Friday evening at the Apostle Paul and Saint Asti Church in Durrës, to commemorate the suffering, crucifixion, and death of Jesus Christ, as part of Black Friday - one of the holiest days of Holy Week.
The celebrations will continue throughout Holy Saturday, culminating with the Mass of the Resurrection, on the night of Saturday into Sunday, where the sound of bells and the light of candles will proclaim the victory over death and the triumph of life. (A2 Televizion)
