"Love the homeland and the people who raised you with actions and not just with words". This was the message of the archbishop of the "Resurrection of Christ" cathedral in Korça. This statement was given after the mass held for the blessing of the Albanian flag on the occasion of the country's independence day.
In addition to the flag-raising ceremonies and special honors, the "Resurrection of Christ" cathedral has organized a special mass for the blessing of the Albanian flag.
After the mass, Archbishop Joan Pelushi appealed to love the country and the people with deeds and not just with words.
"Each of us, if he loves God, will love the country where he was born and raised and his people. A patriot is one who flourishes his country. Beautiful words without actions are like a tree without fruit, and the true fruit of love is always action. On this marked day, I wish everyone joy for many years", said Joan Pelushi, archbishop of the "Resurrection of Christ" cathedral.
