This Sunday has marked a flurry of movement of vehicles and citizens on both sides of the common Albania-Kosovo border. The most movement was recorded this afternoon. Dozens of vehicles with Kosovo license plates are entering Albania through the Morin customs.
Apparently, the citizens of Kosovo want to celebrate the 17th anniversary of Kosovo's declaration of independence in Albania.
Monday, February 17, is a holiday in Kosovo. The flow of funds is also the return of Albanian citizens who spent this weekend in Prizren and the winter tourist spots of Kosovo.
There is also a flow at the entrance to Kosovo, where vehicles with EU license plates have been observed as Kosovar immigrants, although in small numbers, have come to their homeland to celebrate February 17th.
The border police of Albania and Kosovo are implementing the agreement on movement without checks for vehicles with Kosovo and Albanian license plates, while for those with foreign license plates, the control is an accelerated procedure. Even in the early hours of this Sunday, there was a flow on both sides of the border. (A2 Televizion)
