Today, the new headquarters of the Albanian Embassy was inaugurated in the Vatican.
Present at this event were the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Mr. Igli Hasani; the Secretary for Relations with States and International Organizations at the Holy See, His Excellency Paul Richard Gallagher; the Grand Chancellor and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, His Excellency Riccardo Paternò di Montecupo; representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited to the Holy See; as well as other authorities.
In his welcoming speech, Minister Hasani described this step as evidence of the strengthening of relations between Albania and the Holy See, which has become increasingly stronger and more future-oriented based on interfaith dialogue and global peace, writes A2 CNN.
"Human dignity, respect for diversity, religious freedom and social justice are some of the common values that connect Albania and the Holy See. Therefore, this new house of diplomacy will be at the service of joint efforts and initiatives to build bridges for a more peaceful and united world", said Mr. Hasani. (A2 Televizion)
