The vagaries of the weather have created unusual situations for the season we are in. The north and southeast of the country were hit by cold weather with wind and snowfall in these areas on Sunday afternoon. In the north, snowfall reached heights of 600 meters above sea level.
In the northern mountainous areas, the snow depth reached up to 15 centimeters. National roads were not blocked, while difficulties were created mainly on rural roads and those leading to the tourist spots of Theth.
Almost the same situation was in the southeast of the country, where the entire area was covered in snowfall accompanied by strong winds. In the mountainous areas of the southeast, the thickness of the snow reached up to 25 centimeters. There were difficulties in the circulation of vehicles in the evening hours of Sunday on the Qafë Thanë - Pogradec axis.
