For many young people, information technology is not just Tik-Tok and social networks. It is more than that. Through coding or programming, these young people from 16 high schools in the north of the country have used technology to create projects that can make the lives of residents in villages and cities easier.
This group of students from the "Shaban Cokallu" school in Klos, after winning the coding competition in Dibër, are also looking to win in Tirana with other projects. Meanwhile, high school students from Peshkopia High School have brought ideas on how to prevent scoliosis in children or smoking and narcotics in school premises, especially in toilets.
Over 16 projects from 8 municipalities in the north of the country competed among themselves. The winner was the Tropoja "Hoxhë Zogu" school with a project that puts advanced technology at the service of the environment.
The coding project is supported by the British Embassy in Tirana to encourage young people in Northern Albania to plan their future in their homeland and not in emigration. (A2 Televizion)
