The armies of Albania, Kosovo and Croatia have joined forces. The defense ministers of the three countries signed a trilateral defense declaration in Tirana.
The military agreement aims to strengthen the defense capabilities of Albania, Kosovo and Croatia, as well as increase cooperation in the defense industry. The ministers also explained that it also aims to improve military interoperability through education, training and joint exercises.
"Due to geopolitics, we want to have cooperation in our region, taking into account the risks that are present and the situations that are happening in Europe, also referring to Ukraine. We are also thinking about our past, which is not too distant. Information that we have from the past and gives us the opportunity to think, therefore we have made the decision to have cooperation between the three countries. This cooperation will be based especially on providing assistance in the development of the defense industry, changing the fulfillment of all the agreements that we have signed so far. We now want to strengthen these and share the experience of our country as Croatia as part of NATO and the EU."
