The number of tourists in the city of Korça is decreasing, according to the figures for the first 10 months of this year. If in the period of a year ago the number was over 300 thousand, this year the figures presented at the meeting organized by the prefecture today, this figure was 83 thousand.
The prefect of the Korçë district, Nertil Jole, said that the main focus remains on increasing the number of tourists at the district level. Even for the vice mayor of Korça Benila Themeli, the focus is now that Korça comes as a regional offer and not only as a city.
The cities that have increased this year in the number of visitors and tourists are Pogradeci from 250 thousand to over 440 thousand, Kolonja and Maliqi have also increased.
