Power and circulation problems from snowfall in mountainous areas
Snowfall during the night caused power outages in some mountainous areas, leaving over 300 families without power.
The most critical situation is reported in the Lekas administrative unit, where the villages of Xerje, Denas, Tudas, Brozdovec and Mazrekë are without electricity supply.
Similar problems have also appeared in the villages of Peshtan and Lumas of Moglica, as well as in Proger and Vranisht, part of the Devoll Municipality.
Work groups are on the ground and are working to repair the faults and restore the power supply.
In addition, the snowfalls have made the circulation of vehicles in the deep mountainous areas significantly more difficult. However, this morning it became possible to open the Shtyllë-Panarit road, facilitating movement in this important segment.
The prefecture continues to monitor the situation, while the authorities call on citizens to avoid unnecessary movements in the affected areas.
