Dozens of residents representing 6 villages of the Surroj and Kolsh administrative units in the Municipality of Kukës have protested near the latter's building regarding the poor condition of the road connecting the villages of these units with the city of Kukës, reports A2 CNN.
As if the broken promises over the years weren't enough, this road is also damaged day after day by heavy-duty trucks from mineral exploitation companies that are worth tens of millions of euros per year, while no investment is made for the residents, writes A2 CNN.
Meanwhile, the municipality of Kukës acknowledges the poor condition of the road and promises that the procedure is a procurement phase for the complete reconstruction of the 14-kilometer Kukës-Surroj road. (A2 Televizion)
