Rainfall and torrential rain are expected from hour to hour in the entire Albanian territory. The forecast was made on "Our Day" by A2 CNN meteorologist Tanja Porja, according to which the snowfall will approach 700 meters above sea level.
"Zero degrees in the deep mountain areas. The rains have returned to the territory and around midday they strengthen with short-term showers. Snowfall appears in the eastern areas, while in the western areas we will have rain showers. The wind will blow medium and strong; during the morning we have a southerly wind that brings rain, while in the evening a northerly wind that will bring snowfall in the mountainous areas. Similarly, even today, during the night, the snowfall approaches 700 meters high".
According to the A2 CNN meteorologist, the weekend will be cold and clear with heavy snowfall expected on Monday.
"Late in the afternoon we will have heavy snowfall, presence of rain in the low areas and the coast will be covered with a few cm of snow, bringing a drop in temperatures from minus 3 to 13. On Saturday, it will clear. The same situation will be on Sunday and Monday. 40 cm of snow in mountainous areas is expected on Monday. A clear and cold weekend awaits us. Minus 5 on Sunday".
