Businesses desperately seeking employees, and young people complaining about not being able to find work. With the experiment to bring in foreign labor from abroad almost a failure, all eyes are now looking inland.
But there are still missing bridges that connect the needs of the labor market with those who are looking for a salary. To alleviate this impasse, the Faculty of Economics has returned to the role of mediator by organizing a Job Fair.
"This is the sixth year that FEUT has been holding job fairs. We are looking for students both in terms of their employment and in the teaching practices that we as a company offer," says Fatma Jaupi.
Along with telecommunications and microfinance companies, those in the field of property sales and purchases are also growing. Consequently, more employees are needed.
"Today we are at FEUT, but the needs are even greater. Our company is essentially technology, fintech, and we need many employees," declares Emin Muçaj.
Part of the group of young people, with an even greater desire to enter the job market, is Viola. "Since I'm from Vlora and I have experience at the counter, I'm looking for a job in the tourism sector."
There are also those who, even though they have a job, use the fair to keep up to date with market needs.
Mainly in Tirana and coastal cities, currently, according to the National Employment and Skills Agency, there are over 5,700 job vacancies. (A2 Televizion)
