The General Directorate of Taxes has announced that starting Monday, it will begin on-site inspections of taxpayers who trade in food and livestock products.
According to the announcement, about 12 thousand taxpayers have been notified through the official website and via pop-up in their e-Filing accounts to take the necessary measures to ensure that each goods is accompanied by a fiscalized tax invoice. Otherwise, penalties will be applied according to the law, writes A2 CNN.
"Every agricultural and livestock product that you dispose of and trade must be accompanied by a fiscalized purchase invoice, clearly identifying the seller and the origin of the product. Every product that you trade to the final consumer must be accompanied by a fiscalized invoice, accurately reflecting the name and price of the product," the official announcement states.
This warning comes a day after Ministers Anila Denaj and Petrit Malaj went out into the field to raise awareness among businesses that trade in dairy products, declaring that from tomorrow any goods without an invoice, especially dairy products, will be seized. (A2 Televizion)
