Gjirokastra police have arrested two men, who are accused of blackmailing a woman by demanding 2,000 euros to delete intimate photos published on the TikTok social network, A2 CNN reports.
Citizens A. Xh., 45 years old, and AL, 25 years old, both residents of Tirana, were arrested for the criminal offenses of "Computer Forgery" and "Coercion by Threat or Violence for the Delivery of Property", committed in collaboration.
From the investigative actions carried out by specialists from the Cybercrime Investigation Sector, it is suspected that these two citizens, in collaboration with each other, threatened a 40-year-old woman via mobile phone, for giving her the sum of 2,000 euros to delete some of her intimate photos from the social network TikTok.
The procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Gjirokastra, for further action. (A2 Televizion)
