60-year-old woman tries to drown in Vlora, two Ukrainians save her

A woman around 60 years old attempted to drown herself in the sea on Tuesday morning, in Vlora.

There were two Ukrainian citizens who saved him from drowning, writes A2.

Subsequently, the Vlora blue forces and the emergency service were notified, who provided first aid and transported him to the hospital for medical assistance.

Fortunately, his life is reportedly out of danger.

The 60-year-old's son Sergei Artemenko, who saved her from drowning, and his wife Katerina were the people who rescued her. They say they initially heard the sound of something falling into the water and thought it was a fish, and then they saw someone in black struggling to breathe.

The son Sergei has taken off his clothes and says he went to help her. He says he pulled her out of the water and his wife gave her first aid afterwards.

The boy himself suffered minor injuries to his knee. (A2 Televizion)
