Active fire outbreaks in the Belishovo hills are on the verge of complete neutralization, A2 CNN reports.
As of 5:30 this morning, 30 army forces joined the operation to extinguish the flames.
The battle with the flames continued until 19:00, where the firefighting services of Mallakastra, Fier, Albpetrol, the Armed Forces and the Southern Infantry Regiment worked in the difficult terrain to completely neutralize them.
The situation will be monitored throughout the night with teams on standby, as the wind could reactivate the fires. (A2 Televizion)
