Three fires in Çerava, Pogradec, rapid intervention prevents spread

A large-scale fire broke out today in the village of Çerravë, Pogradec, causing concern for residents and danger to the surrounding area.

Immediately after receiving the notification, the Pogradec Fire and Rescue Service (FRS), municipal service employees, and volunteers were deployed to the field to deal with the situation.

Thanks to the organization and coordinated intervention, it was possible to isolate and then completely extinguish three fires, preventing the spread of flames to a wider area.

The Ministry of Environment calls for maximum caution, appealing for a strict ban on the lighting of uncontrolled fires, which can cause major damage to the environment.

Meanwhile, police have launched investigations to uncover the causes of the fire and identify any person responsible in the event of arson. (A2 Televizion)
