A fatal accident occurred this morning on the Lushnje-Berat national road in the village of Barbullinje. A 65-year-old woman was fatally hit by an Audi vehicle with license plate AB257 SM.
The vehicle driven by 46-year-old Aleksandër Misto hit the victim who was crossing the road on the other side. The driver of the vehicle was stopped by the police and escorted to the Lushnja police station. An ambulance is at the scene to collect the body of Hatixhe Topi, who had left for work this morning.
Traffic police at the scene are documenting the accident and directing traffic while the police expert is expected to continue the procedures.
