An unusual accident was recorded this morning in Lushnje, resulting in one person being injured.
A vehicle driven by a 56-year-old woman, while trying to exit the parking lot, went onto the sidewalk and hit a roadside food stall, injuring a passerby.
The incident occurred near the Polyclinic in the city center. A 70-year-old man was injured and, after receiving initial aid, was taken by ambulance to the Lushnja hospital.
Police have arrived at the scene and are investigating the causes of the accident. According to the statements of the driver of the "Mercedes Benz" vehicle with license plate AA078XE, she confused the gear, so instead of reversing, she drove onto the sidewalk and caused the accident.
