The Tirana police reject the accusations of Sali Beirsha and Flamur Noka that the deputy speaker of the Parliament Agron Gjekmarkaj was hit by some officers during the Monday protest.

"The State Police refutes as completely untrue the statement in the media of Mr. Sali Berisha, where he claimed that MP Agron Gjekmarkaj was hit by police officers", says the police in a reaction to the media, writes A2 CNN. "Deputy Gjekmarkaj was not hit by any police officer, but, from the first data, it appears that he did not feel well in terms of health and left the protest".

The State Police also accused Flamur Noka of violent actions. "Not only did he disobey the Police order to clear the road, but he violently opposed it, pushing, insulting and hitting the Police officers who were on duty to clear the road for the free movement of vehicles and citizens. "The Tirana police have identified all those citizens who illegally blocked the road and opposed the order of the police officers to release them, and they will be prosecuted according to the law," said the police.

According to the authorities, blocking the roads is a criminal offense, which was made clear to the organizers of the protest in the response from the Local Directorate of the Tirana Police, which took over the guarantee of the protest, but without blocking the free movement of vehicles and citizens.
