The Special Court decides to return the file against Democratic MP Asllan Dogjani to SPAK for completion of investigations. The lawmaker is accused by SPAK of "false declaration of assets".
After a preliminary review of the Special Prosecution's request for a trial, Judge Rudina Palloj found deficiencies in the investigation. For this reason, the court granted SPAK 2 months of additional time, also giving it specific tasks, writes A2 CNN.
According to SPAK, Dogjani made a false declaration regarding the manner in which he obtained an apartment in his ownership.
"From the written evidence and those presented by witnesses, it results that the contract dated December 6, 2006 bears the same rep. and col. number as the one dated September 6, 2006, but with a change in the method of obtaining this apartment. This shows that the contract was drafted fictitiously with the aim of falsely declaring the source of the creation of the immovable property," SPAK declared after the closure of the investigation.
