A 47-year-old man has been arrested by police in the capital after being accused of theft.
According to the police, the citizen with the initials F.(Z.) T. first stole from a bar, then stole a car and attempted the same with two others.
"A 47-year-old man has been identified, arrested and put in handcuffs, who within one day, broke into a bar, stole 1 vehicle and attempted to steal 2 other vehicles, breaking their windows.
The stolen vehicle is found and seized.
The Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 3, as a result of the investigative actions carried out to uncover the thefts, identify and apprehend the perpetrators, based on a citizen's report of theft in his premises, have finalized the police operation codenamed "Reaction".
As a result of the operation, citizen F.(Z.) T., 47 years old, was arrested and handcuffed.
From the investigative actions, it is suspected that this citizen, on 16.03.2025, broke into the premises of citizen LH and stole various products from this citizen's vehicle, as well as attempted to steal from 2 other vehicles parked near this premises, whose windows he broke.
Police services have found and seized as material evidence the vehicle stolen by the 47-year-old.
Investigations are ongoing to uncover other thefts that this citizen may have committed.
"The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced. (A2 Televizion)
