A 51-year-old man has been arrested by Operational Forces in the Maminas area after being wanted by Italian authorities for drug trafficking.
During the operation "Operacionalja 34", citizen Albert Koni, 51 years old, resident of Maminas, was arrested with the aim of extradition to Italy.
This citizen was declared internationally wanted after the Court of Appeal of Turin, Italy, with a decision dated 10.01.2025, sentenced him to 4 years, 5 months and 21 days in prison for drug trafficking.
Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome will carry out the procedures for the extradition of this citizen to Italy. (A2 Televizion)
