The Elbasan Prosecutor's Office has registered a criminal proceeding for abuse of police authority, following the denunciation a day earlier by DP MP Flamur Noka, for the involvement of several police officers in Elbasan and the Peqin prison in the campaign for the SP candidate in this district, Sara Mile.
"Peqin Prison as a company owned by Suel Çela. Suel Çela has turned Peqin Prison into the election headquarters of the SP candidate, Sara Mile," Noka wrote on Facebook, also listing the names of the officers he denounced.
On Tuesday, the Elbasan Prosecution Office announced that it has initiated proceedings, setting up a special investigative group composed of the prosecutor of the case and three judicial police officers at the prosecution office, who are carrying out verifications and the first urgent investigative actions, such as questioning persons with knowledge of the criminal offense, reviewing video footage, seizing material evidence (mobile phones, DVRs), etc.
The announcement comes on the same day that SPAK prosecutors and BKH agents held a meeting at the Elbasan Prosecutor's Office. (A2 Televizion)
