The Korça Court has only imposed a "compulsory appearance" measure for Alti Nallbati, the brother of Democratic MP Bledion Nallbati, who on Sunday evening was involved in a physical conflict for weak motives with a truck driver in the city of Devoll.
The brother of the Democratic legislator was charged with "Disturbing public peace" and "Obstructing the movement of means of transport."
" At the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Korça, a hearing was held today, on 06.05.2025 at 12.30, with the subject matter: "Validation of arrest in flagrante delicto, imposition of the security measure "Obligation to report to the judicial police" against citizen AN suspected of committing the criminal offenses "Disturbance of public peace", and "Obstruction of the circulation of means of transport" provided for by articles 274/1 and 293 of the Criminal Code. The court, at the end of the trial, decided: Acceptance of the request. Validation as lawful of the arrest in flagrante delicto and imposition of the security measure "Obligation to report to the judicial police" for this citizen ", the Korça Court announced.
According to the lawyer, Nevzat Tarelli, it was the Korça prosecution itself that requested the mandatory appearance of the deputy's brother, a request that was taken into account by the Korça court.
MP Bledjon Nallbati has accused the Korça police director and the SP political leader in the Korça region, Niko Peleshi, of intervening in this event, leading to the arrest of his brother.
The incident in question occurred at around 9:15 p.m. on Sunday evening, near the Miras roundabout in the town of Bilisht. Nallbat and his brother stated to investigators that the truck was speeding and could have hit them from behind, which is why they reacted in that way to its driver.
Meanwhile, the footage shows Alti Nallbati stopping the vehicle he was driving with his brother, Bledion Nallbati, obstructing the flow of vehicles on this road and engaging in a verbal and physical conflict with the truck driver. (A2 Televizion)
