The next court session where the repentant justice Erjon Alibej testified was accompanied by tension and verbal clashes between him and Plarent Dervishaj.
As Alibej recounted details of their meetings and preparations for the assassination attempt on former prosecutor Arian Ndoja, Dervishaj intervened, accusing him of lying.
This has led to tensions in the courtroom, with Plarent Dervishaj and the associate of justice being offended by each other. The panel of judges has interrupted the session due to the unethical language and arguments between Alibej and Dervishaj, and has subsequently decided that the latter should leave today's session.
The clash between Erion Alibej and Plarent Dervishaj:
Erjon Alibej: I met Plarent a few days before the assassination attempt. Plarent suspected several people of having attempted to assassinate him, he also suspected Pëllumb Muhameti (Rrumi) and prosecutor Ndoja. He did not consider Rrumi to be a good person at all. He referred to prosecutor Ndoja and called him corrupt and connected to citizen Rrumi.
We were interested in what had happened to us, what I found out about Plarentin, I told him and vice versa. But that doesn't mean they were facts. I simply conveyed them to him, even with embarrassment.
Plarent Dervishaj intervenes: What's wrong with you, man? You've been sitting there for two hours, you're lying.
Erion Alibej: The information was about the assassination attempt they had made. I gave him a photo that Nuredin Dumani took, I told him I think the "hunters" are here.
Plarent Dervishaj: You said you were willing to participate in the assassination of Arjan Ndoja. Did I ask you, did I impose it on you, or did you ask?
Erjon Alibey: I asked for it, knowing you didn't need it.
Plarent Dervishaj: The day you met me that you testified about, you are very wrong with the date, the time. Why didn't you tell me about the assassination attempt you were going to make on Franc Çopja, which we discussed in the meeting.
Erion Alibey: Your colleagues.
Plarent Dervishaj: Dumani gave you the wrong information, son.
After Dervishaj left the courtroom, Erion Alibej recounted other details about the Shkozet incident, where prosecutor Arjan Ndoj and the well-known underworld figure, "Rrumi i Shijakut", were injured.
Meanwhile, Dervishaj's lawyer, Ilia Ilia, has partially refuted the testimony given by Erion Alibej.
EVIDENCE:
Alibej: He once said it was related to the port of Durres, but he also had other claims. He wasn't sure if he would do it or not, but then he did it.
Dervishaj collaborated with Çopjat in Dubai, according to you? You said so. Was the disappointment you had with Plarent Dervishaj due to this reason?
Erion Alibej: This is not related, he has offended me very seriously regarding the SMS he brought me through Redian Rrajës, I am not mentioning this here. I am not sure how long he had been cooperating with Çopjat. When I sent my lawyers, to cooperate with SPAK I was without reservations, I do not remember whether I had started giving statements or not regarding other issues.
Did Plaurent Dervishaj mention to you that Arjan Ndoj had his case on his hands since he was a prosecutor?
Erion Alibej: I don't remember, I'm not really sure. Even though I met him once, it doesn't mean he would tell me everything.
