Devoll police have arrested the brother of Democratic Party MP Bledion Nallbati for last evening's incident at the Bilisht roundabout.
Alti Nallbati, otherwise known by the nickname "Duçja", together with his brother, a candidate on the safe list of the Democratic Party for the Korça region, punched the driver of a truck.
According to the police, during the examination of the video footage, it turned out that near the Miras roundabout in the city of Bilisht, citizen Alti Nallbati stopped the vehicle in which he was traveling with his brother, obstructing the circulation of vehicles moving on this road axis.
He then got out of the vehicle and verbally argued with the truck driver, and then attempted to force citizen SD out of the vehicle, and attempted to punch him and insult him by performing indecent acts in public.
His brother Bledioni was also involved in this conflict, initially attempting to calm the situation but then, based on the footage, attempting to hit the driver.
From the statements given to the police, the two Nallbati brothers stated that the conflict started after the driver of the heavy vehicle was speeding and risked hitting them.
The procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Korça, for further action. (A2 Televizion)
