The serious incident that occurred this Saturday afternoon on Qirinjve Street, in Laç, has been solved by the police. The Blues announce that they have arrested the two young men who fired shots in the conflict, which left five people injured.
Klevis Ndreca and Daniel Gjeloshi were arrested, while during the operation to arrest them, the police seized two firearms and other tools used at the scene.
"Following the information provided about the incident that occurred on 03.05.2025, at around 13.27, in Laç, where as a result of a conflict 5 citizens were injured with firearms, the investigative group intensified its actions while the operational forces continued field checks to capture the perpetrator. At the end of the first investigative actions, the arrest in flagrante delicto of citizens Daniel Gjeloshi, 27 years old (who was injured during the conflict and is out of danger to his life) and Klevis Ndreca, 28 years old, suspected as perpetrators of the criminal offenses "Murder in other qualifying circumstances" and "Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", the police announced.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the conflict began with a road accident without significant damage and then continued with the use of weapons, while an innocent citizen, who was selling candles at a stall near the road that leads to the Laçi Church, was also injured in the shooting.
"From the entirety of the investigative actions carried out so far, it results that the conflict between the young people started for weak motives (a road accident with very minor material damage) and then continued between the parties using firearms. By examining the security cameras and thanks to the quick and professional investigative actions, it has been possible to clarify the dynamics of the event, where it has been documented that two firearms (pistols), a cold weapon (punch amplifier) were used, as well as two vehicles, which have been found and seized as material evidence", the police further explains.
