Suspected of practicing prostitution for payment, 2 Chinese women arrested in Durrës

Two Chinese citizens, one 42 years old and the other 41 years old, have been arrested by the Durrës Police, suspected of the criminal offense of practicing prostitution.

Through a statement, the Police announced that 6 Albanian citizens, clients suspected of having received sexual services for payment, were also prosecuted while at large for the same criminal offense, writes A2 CNN.

Also, the investigations revealed that the two foreign nationals had rented an apartment in Qerret and, through communications on social networks, secured clients, offering sexual services in exchange for monetary values ​​ranging from 80 to 200 euros.

The police operation codenamed "Baza" is being finalized by the Illicit Trafficking Investigation Sector, after a two-week investigation using proactive methods.

A prostitution base in Qerret i Kavaja is raided.

The Crime Investigation Specialists at the Kavaja Police Station, in cooperation with the Specialists of the Trafficking Investigation Section, after an intensive and well-organized investigation, finalized the police operation codenamed "Baza", within which a case of prostitution was documented and cracked down on.

At the conclusion of the investigative actions, two Chinese citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:

CY, 42 years old and Y. Sh., 41 years old, both suspected of the criminal offense of "Prostitution".

Also, 6 Albanian citizens, clients suspected of having received sexual services for payment, were prosecuted while at large for the same criminal offense.

The investigation revealed that the two foreign nationals had rented an apartment in Qerret and, through communications on social networks, secured clients, offering sexual services in exchange for monetary values ​​ranging from 80 to 200 euros.

The two citizens had entered the Republic of Albania as tourists, while in reality they were engaging in illegal activity for the purpose of financial gain.

As material evidence, sums of money in euros and dollars and 2 mobile phones, used for communications with clients, were seized.

The procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further procedural actions. (A2 Televizion)
