A 54-year-old Albanian woman has been arrested by the Kavaja Police after being accused by Spanish authorities of cultivating narcotic plants.
Through a notice, the Police announce that the Court of Sabadell in Spain has assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Cultivation of narcotic plants" and "Theft of electricity", for which the maximum sentence is 6 years.
Meanwhile, Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with counterparts in Spain, will carry out the procedures for the extradition of this citizen, writes A2 CNN.

Kavajë-Accused by Spanish authorities of cultivating narcotic plants and stealing electricity, the 54-year-old woman was captured in Kavajë and arrested with the aim of extradition to Spain.
The services of the Kavaja Police Commissariat, in continuation of the work to locate and capture wanted citizens, have provided information on the location of a citizen who is internationally wanted and, based on this information, have organized the work to capture her.
As a result of cooperation with the services of the Special Operational Force of the DVP Durrës and the exchange of information with Interpol Tirana, the Albanian citizen VB, 54 years old, residing in Golem, was located and arrested.
This citizen was declared internationally wanted after the Court of Sabadell, Spain, by decision dated 30.06.2025, assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Cultivation of narcotic plants" and "Theft of electricity", for which the maximum sentence is 6 years.
Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with counterparts in Spain, will carry out the procedures for the extradition of this citizen. (A2 Televizion)
