A 30-year-old man from Lushnja, who was declared internationally wanted for a series of criminal offenses, has been extradited from the Netherlands to Albania. The police announce that this is Kristi Bixheku, for whom the Elbasan Court has set the security measure, "Arrest with imprisonment", for the criminal offenses "Destruction of property with explosives", "Providing material conditions to commit murder", "Structured criminal group" and "Committing criminal offenses by a structured criminal group".
Kristi Bixheku is accused of having, in collaboration with other citizens, secured the explosive that was placed in the house of citizen BT, on 31.12.2022, in the city of Lushnja.
As a result of cooperation between Interpol Tirana and Interpol The Hague/Netherlands, the arrest and extradition of the 30-year-old to Albania became possible.
