The State Police have arrested a person in connection with the murder of 58-year-old Renato Hoxhaj two days ago in the city of Vlora.
The arrested person is citizen EM who was captured in Tirana and not in Ksamil as previously reported.
There were several people escorted in the capital, but only one of them was taken to Vlora. He is suspected of being one of the people involved in the incident.
The detained person does not have the role of the executioner, but helped him commit the murder.
The discovery of the incident was made from the vehicle used by the executioner. The vehicle used by the 58-year-old's killer previously belonged to the arrested person, but the license plates had been changed.
The murder was paid for and ordered from abroad. There were also checks in Ksamil as the perpetrator is suspected of having fled the country via Greece.
It is believed that the reason why the 58-year-old was killed is the fact that he provided information about a serious criminal incident that occurred a few years ago.
Practically, it is suspected that the victim informed the rival group of a murdered person about his location, which then caused a victim and sparked bloodshed in Vlora. (A2 Televizion)
