Korça Police are implementing a decision of the Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime (SCOC), within the framework of a criminal proceeding involving four political entities with a nationwide reach.
Confidential sources for A2 CNN reveal that representatives of only one political entity in Korça are under investigation for electoral crimes, mainly related to vote buying during the electoral process.
In accordance with the court decision, the police are conducting searches in the homes of the suspects, while vehicles and several mobile phones that may contain important evidence for the investigation have been seized.
According to the same sources, the entity under investigation in Korça is the Social Democratic Party, which was part of the electoral race in the May 11 elections. (A2 Televizion)
