After almost 48 hours of searching, the body of the captain of the tourist ship, Arben Anamali, has been found.
Sources for A2 CNN indicate that his body was found during the third day of the search operation, which began around 05:00 this morning.
Arben Anamali lost his life in Lake Shkodra while trying to save two foreign tourists who had fallen into the water from drowning.
The Mayor, Benet Beci, reacted to this serious event, praising the heroic action of Captain Anamali, who sacrificed his life to save the two young men, writes A2 CNN.
"This morning is sad for Shkodra. Since yesterday afternoon, the FNSH's marine forces, in collaboration with employees of the Shkodra Municipality, have been continuing the search to find the body of the captain of the tourist boat on Lake Shkodra, Arben Anamali.
The structures will be engaged even today to make it possible to find the body of Arben, the captain who sacrificed his life to save the tourists who were risking their lives. Unfortunately, this heroic act turned into a tragedy for him, his family and all those who knew him.
