A 45-year-old citizen, Daniel Korali, has been arrested by the Police in Tirana, after being sentenced to 4 years and 3 months in prison in Italy for intimidation, extortion and illegal possession of weapons.
Through a statement, the Police announced that Interpol Tirana is cooperating with its counterparts to finalize the procedure for the extradition of this citizen to Italy.

Convicted in Italy for intimidation, extortion and illegal possession of weapons, the 45-year-old is located in Tirana and put in handcuffs.
Following close cooperation with Italian partners, with the objective of bringing to justice internationally wanted citizens for various criminal offenses, the services of the Special Operational Force Directorate at the DPSS finalized the police operation codenamed "Operation 32".
During the operation, citizen Daniel Korali, 45 years old, born in Tirana, was located in Tirana and provisionally arrested, with the aim of extradition to Italy.
He was declared an international wanted person because the Court of Messina, Italy, sentenced him in 2024 to 4 years and 3 months in prison for threats, extortion, and illegal possession of cold weapons.
