A serious accident occurred this Sunday morning on the Peqin-Elbasan national road, in the village of Bishqem, where 2 people lost their lives and 14 others were injured, reports A2 CNN. Two vehicles were involved in the accident: a Benz car with license plate AB507AV and a passenger van with license plate AA368NH, driven by citizen Anesti Bufi.
The latter, along with several passengers, was transported by ambulance to the Elbasan regional hospital for medical assistance. Meanwhile, the driver and a passenger of the other vehicle have not yet been removed from the car, as its doors are blocked due to extensive damage from the collision.
Police and firefighters are working to extract trapped people and investigate the causes of the accident. (A2 Televizion)
