The Durrës Court has released the administrator of the watercraft base at Shkëmbi i Kavajës, where a maritime incident was recorded a few days ago in which a Belgian tourist was injured.
The Judge, after hearing the claims of the parties present at the hearing, then made a decision to release the citizen under investigation, Skerdilaid Xhameta, writes A2 CNN.
Meanwhile, an appeal against this decision is allowed within 5 (five) days at the Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction of Tirana, starting from the day after the communication of the court's decision.
Court Decision:
1. Acceptance of the request of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Durrës.
2. Validation as legal of the arrest in flagrante delicto of the person under investigation S. Xh.
3. Assigning to the person under investigation S.Xh. the personal security measure "Obligation to report to the judicial police", provided for by article 234 of the Criminal Procedure Code, as a suspect for committing the criminal offense "Violation of safety rules at work", provided for by article 289/1 of the Criminal Code
4. The immediate release of the person under investigation S. Xh. from the detention cells is ordered if he is not detained for any other criminal offense.
5. The person under investigation, S.Xh., is ordered to appear before the judicial police on the first and third Tuesday of each month, at 10:00 a.m.
6. The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Durrës and the judicial police are charged with the execution of this decision.
7. An appeal against this decision is allowed within 5 (five) days at the Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction of Tirana, starting from the day after the communication of the court's decision.
